Indigent Patient Program
Ucyclyd Pharma has established a patient assistance program to make BuphenylŪ, (sodium phenylbutyrate) tablets and powder, available to patients in need of financial assistance. The National Organization of Rare Diseases (NORD) administers the program for Ucyclyd Pharma. Determination of eligibility is based on need and not on financial income.
Criteria for Participation Include:
- Diagnosis of a urea cycle disorder
- Resident of the United States who has difficulty paying for Buphenyl for themselves or for their child
- Call the toll free hotline 1-800-711-0811 to complete the confidential application
- NORD will review your completed application and make a decision on your eligibility for the program
Once your application is approved medication will be shipped directly to your home. You will be billed for shipping charges.
